Thanks for all the ni...Great minds think alike :)

Thanks for all the nice comments everybody. I appreciate it. Makes up for the bad dream I had last night that a cousin saw a pair of Coastal Taipans poke their heads out from under the passenger's seat of a car she had shipped from overseas. I was trying to call my herpetologist friend Dr. Means to find out where to go to prevent the snakes from escaping and get him to catch them. All this while driving the car with the snakes loose in there. I couldn't stop for fear they'd slither out and disappear on the right of way. I was so worried they'd become an invasive species and displace our native rattlesnakes, plus, you know, badass snakes loose in the car! What a nightmare! So no more researching stowaway venomous snakes at bedtime.Beachtonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13792937145012547220noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9111303718232102418.post-37068489461472605372010-11-10T12:28:43.199-05:002010-11-10T12:28:43.199-05:00I helpfully posted a link to... the exact same pag...I helpfully posted a link to... the exact same page you already linked to.John Callenderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11622194201173858607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9111303718232102418.post-13055036803477662782010-11-10T12:27:12.741-05:002010-11-10T12:27:12.741-05:00This comment has been removed by the author.John Callenderhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11622194201173858607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9111303718232102418.post-85228535255966812242010-11-10T10:53:16.775-05:002010-11-10T10:53:16.775-05:00How sadly boring. But no, the contrail explanation is far too reasonable... It's just an ordinary object seen from an interesting angle.

As for the movie, at least the writers resolved it properly: no snake, just a jumped-to conclusion.Scribhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10833004755004062032noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-9111303718232102418.post-60662855004082419422010-11-10T10:08:45.232-05:002010-11-10T10:08:45.232-05:00Ahhh, clarity, rationality, and a complete lack of...Ahhh, clarity, rationality, and a complete lack of filling in the gaps in our knowledge with bullshit.
